Day 1: Hanoi arrival โ€“ Welcome to Vietnam

Xin Chร o! Welcome to Hanoi โ€“ the thousand-year capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, meet our tour guide and driver at the airport, then transfer to your hotel downtown for check-in.

The rest of the day is free to explore Hanoi until 18:00 our street food walking tour
starts. On a 3-hour walking tour youโ€™ll explore the culture, history of Hanoi, step
into a world full of street food vendors.

Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi is not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand, family restaurantsโ€ฆ

Day 2: Hanoi city tour with pagoda visiting

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, at 08:00 AM, depart from Hanoi for Hung Yen Province to visit Nom Pagoda, one of the most ancient and tranquil pagodas in northern Vietnam. Upon arrival, guests take time to explore the pagoda complex, admire its traditional architecture, and learn about its history and spiritual significance. We also have a chance to talk with the monk about Buddhist philosophy, daily monastic life, and the practice of mindfulness. You also can take part in a short, guided meditation session, helping them relax, calm the mind, and experience a moment of inner peace in the serene atmosphere of the pagoda. We can take a walk around the village to learn more about the daily life here before going back Hanoi for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you begin the city tour with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from outside, where they learn about the life and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. The journey continues to the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), Vietnamโ€™s first university, a symbol of traditional education and Confucian values, where guests can explore its peaceful courtyards and ancient architecture.

In the late afternoon, return to Hoan Kiem lake for a leisure walk before attending a traditional water puppet show, a unique folk art of Vietnam. Free evening and stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi โ€“ Sapa, trekking to rural villages

Early breakfast at your hotel, at 07:00 AM, meet our driver and tour guide then depart to Sapa (300km ~ 6-hour drive) with 2 comfortable breaks on the way.

We arrive in Sapa at noon time, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and check in to your hotel. After a short rest, we will start trekking to Lao Chai โ€“ Ta Van. Lao Chai Village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic minority. From here, the trekking journey begins, leading guests through breathtaking rice terraces, mountain landscapes, and traditional villages. Along the way, guests have opportunities to learn about local culture, daily life, and traditional farming practices while enjoying the fresh air and natural scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley.

The trek continues to Ta Van Village, where the Giay ethnic people live. Guests can visit local houses, interact with villagers, and gain deeper insight into their customs and lifestyle. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, and overnight in Sapa

Day 4: Explore Fansipan Peak and Glass Bridge

After breakfast at the hotel, meet our tour guide and transfer from Sapa town to the Fansipan Cable Car Station, where they take the cable car to the top of Fansipan Mountain, known as the โ€œRoof of Indochina.โ€ During the ride, guests can enjoy
spectacular views of mountains, forests, and valleys below. Upon reaching the upper station, guests walk through the spiritual complex and climb the final steps to the summit at 3,143 meters above sea level, where they can take photos and enjoy panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

*Notes for Fansipan peak: There are 2 funiculars in Fansipan to bring you more great views of the mountain and skip walking up. Muong Hoa funicular (8USD/person) and Do Quyen funicular (11USD/person), let us know if you like to add it on the offer.

Lunch will be served at local restaurant. In the afternoon, the journey continues with a visit to Glass Bridge, an impressive transparent bridge offering thrilling views of deep valleys and surrounding mountains. Guests have time to experience the bridge, take photos, and enjoy the unique perspective of the natural landscape.

Day 5: Sapa โ€“ Hanoi โ€“ Flight to Luang Prabang

Morning is free to chill with the mountain or go shopping at the local market (on your own arrangement), or you can request our tour guide to take you other attraction in the city center. We will support you, but the entrance fees are to your own account.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Say goodbye, Sapa, weโ€™ll drive back to Hanoi airport for the flight to Luang Prabang (the airfare will be quoted separately). Upon arrival, get welcomed by our local team, then transfer to the hotel for rest and overnight.

Day 6: Luang Prabang โ€“ Kuang Si Waterfall

Rise early to witness the sacred alms-giving ceremony at around 05:00 AM, best viewed at a town crossroads as lines of saffron robed monks silently receive offerings at sunrise. Continue to explore the nearby morning market before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later, visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most important temple in Luang Prabang, followed by Wat Visoun, known for its unique traditional Lao architecture, and Wat Mai, the cityโ€™s largest and most ornate 18th-century temple near the Royal Palace.

Later, drive about 30 km south through rice fields and rural villages to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you can swim in turquoise pools. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to the city to visit the former Royal Palace (National Museum), then in the late afternoon, enjoy a luxury Mekong River sunset cruise with drinks, canapรฉs, and traditional music and dance. In the evening, browse the colorful Night Market. The rest of the time is free at leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 7: Luang Prabang โ€“ Pak Ou Caves

In the morning, drive about two hours north of Luang Prabang to visit the sacred Pak Ou Caves, beautifully set at the confluence of the Mekong and Ou Rivers. Explore Tham Ting (Lower Cave) and Tham Theung (Upper Cave), offering peaceful views over the Mekong and housing hundreds of Buddha images. Continue along the river to Ban Xang Hai village, where you will learn about the traditional production of Lao Lao (rice whisky) and Lao Hai (rice wine). Return to Luang Prabang for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, choose to visit Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xienglek to observe traditional handmade Sa (mulberry) paper production, or Ock Pop Tok, a weaving village showcasing Laosโ€™ rich textile heritage.

Later in the day, climb Mount Phousi to visit its sacred golden stupa and enjoy panoramic sunset views over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River. The evening is free at leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 8: Luang Prabang โ€“ Flight to Siem Reap

Breakfast is at your hotel in Luang Prabang, depending on your departure time, our team will take you to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Goodbye Laos.

Upon arrival time, get welcomed by our local team then transfer to your hotel for check in. It is time for freshen up and relax at your hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy Dinner with Apsara Dance show โ€“ a traditional Khmer dance at local restaurant.

Day 9: A full day to explore Angkor temples

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. We drive to Angkor Thom that was the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Following the occupation of Angkor by the Chams from 1177 to 1181, the new king decided to build an impregnable fortress at the heart of his empire.

We begin to visit Bayon Temple. At the exact center of Angkor Thom, this is an eccentric expression of the creative genius and inflated ego of Cambodiaโ€™s most celebrated king. Photo stop at Terrace of the Leper King. Along the Terrace of Elephants, originally used as a viewing gallery for the king to preside over parades, performances and traditional sports.

Visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever.

Weโ€™ll journey out to the mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers.

Day 10: Phnom Kulen Mountain by Jeep

Depart from your hotel at 7:00 AM for Phnom Kulen, the holiest mountain in Cambodia. Upon arrival near Preah Ang Thom Pagoda, explore the mountaintop sanctuary, home to sacred relics, statues, and the impressive reclining Buddha.

Meet your motorbike driver for an adventurous ride around the mountain. Stop at Poeng Tbal to see ancient riverbed carvings depicting Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesh, and revered sages. Continue to Prasat Rong Chen, a significant early Angkorian site set atop a three-tiered pyramid, then visit a nearby modern temple offering panoramic views. Enjoy a simple picnic lunch at the temple.

After a short break, explore a bat cave with torchlight, housing a modern shrine and attracting many pilgrims. Continue to Srah Damrei (Elephant Pond) and Damrei Khrap (Kneeling Elephant) to view more remarkable stone carvings. The motorbike journey concludes back at Preah Ang Thom.

Before returning, visit the sacred Thousand Lingas River, followed by a stop at Kulen
Waterfall for a refreshing swim. Return to Siem Reap

Day 11: Siem Reap, flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Breakfast at your hotel, check out and get transfer from hotel to the airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city, Vietnam. Say goodbye Cambodia. (Airfare will cost separately)

Welcome back to Vietnam! You will be welcomed by our local team at the airport then transfer to hotel in the city center for check-in if time permits. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then we begin with a visit to the War Remnants Museum to gain insight into Vietnamโ€™s modern history. Continuing to the historic Reunification (Independence) Palace. Next, admire the cityโ€™s French colonial architecture with stops at the Notre Dame Cathedral (outside visit) and the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Take a short walk along the lively Nguyen Hue Walking Street, a popular local gathering place in the heart of the city.

Day 12: Cao Dai temple and Cu Chi tunnel

Depart Ho Chi Minh City in the morning and travel northwest through rural landscapes to Tay Ninh Province, home of the colorful Cao Dai Great Temple. Arrive in time to observe the noon prayer ceremony, where followers dressed in vibrant robes practice this unique religion that blends elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, and Islam. Take time to explore the striking architecture and learn about the beliefs and history of Cao Daism.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels. On arrival, watch a short introductory documentary, then explore the vast underground network used during the Vietnam War. Discover hidden entrances, living quarters, kitchens, and command rooms, and learn about the ingenious survival tactics of the Viet
Cong. You may choose to crawl through an enlarged tunnel section or visit the shooting
range (optional, own expense).

Return HCM City in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel.

Day 13: Mekong Delta โ€“ full day exploration

Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and start the trip to My Tho, 80km from Ho Chi
Minh city. It takes you around 2,5 hours to get the area. On the road, you will stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which is known as โ€œ The first Pagoda in Vietnam has special architecture combined between Western and Eastern styleโ€.

After arrival in My Tho, you will be ridden by a local motor boat along Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island, Turtle Island and stop at the famous Unicorn Island. While at the Unicorn Island, you will visit natural pure honey at the bee keeping farm. Taste some honey tea, rice wine, banana wine. Walking on the village and taking rowing boat along the natural water coconut canal to see the local lifestyle in the Mekong Delta. From there, you will continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Have lunch at the local restaurant.

The afternoon is time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local people
to experience their daily life in the Mekong delta or relaxing on hammocks.

Back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14: Morning flight to Hue, city tour then Hoi An

Today, you will have an early drop-off to take a short flight from HCM city to Hue โ€“ the imperial city in the central of Vietnam. (Airfare will cost separately)

Upon arrival tisme, you will be welcomed by our local tour guide and driver. Then, weโ€™ll explore the historic Hue Citadel, the former royal residence, perfect for capturing amazing photos while diving into Vietnamโ€™s rich history. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with local cuisines.

In the afternoon, we will relax on a boat trip in Perfume pagoda and Khai Dinh Tomb, often considered the most beautiful and fascinating tomb of the Nguyen Dynasty. Say goodbye Hue, traveling along the stunning Hai Van Pass, taking in breathtaking views of the deep blue sea. End your journey in Hoi An ancient town. Check-in your hotel.

Day 15: Explore Ba Na Hills and Golden Hand Bridge

Breakfast is served at your hotel. At 8:00AM, meet our friendly guide and set off for a fun-filledย day at Ba Na Hills, one of Da Nang's must-visit attractions! Hop on the cable car for a breathtaking ride up to the summit and get ready to explore. Your adventure begins with stops at iconic spots like the Funicular Railway, the ancient Debay Wine Cellar, the romantic Le Jardin Dโ€™Amour gardens, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the impressive Thich Ca Buddha statue.

After lunch, continue your journey by enjoying exciting activities and games at Fantasy Park. Later, walk to the highest point of Ba Na Mountain, the 1,487-meter summit. Don't forget to snap stunning photos at the world-famous Golden Bridge. As the day winds down, take the cable car back and return to the hotel in Hoi An for a bit of rest and relaxation.

Day 16: Cooking class tour and explore Hoi An

After breakfast, the day starts at 08:00 AM. At 8.00AM, you will meet our guide and start a great day tour. Weโ€™ll start the day with a cooking class, learning how to prepare some of Vietnamโ€™s traditional foods with guidance from local chefs. Enjoy your lunch with the food that you cooked.

In the afternoon, we will have a short transfer to visit Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Here, you will be enthusiastically welcomed by the local people, they will lead you to visit the creeks in the water coconut woods by basket boats, you will be instructed to fish crabs, and you will see the performances of rowing basket boats by the local rowers.

After that, we will explore the ancient town with some highlight such as: Japanese Cover Bridge โ€“ the symbol of Hoi An, Tan Ky house, Nguyen Thai Hoc street โ€“ the ancient street of Hoi An, the local market of Hoi An and Phuc Kien Congressional Assembly Hall.

Day 17: Hoi An โ€“ Da Nang, flight to Hai Phong, Halong

Depart from Hoi An and head to Da Nang for a short but fulfilling city tour. Begin with a visit to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble hills dotted with caves, pagodas, and stunning viewpoints overlooking the coast. Continue to the iconic Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula, home to the impressive 67-meter Lady Buddha statue watching over Da Nang Bay. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and take in the beautiful ocean views.

Next, stop by the Dragon Bridge and the riverside area for quick photos of Da Nangโ€™s modern landmarks before visiting Han Market, where you can browse local snacks, souvenirs, and handicrafts.

In the afternoon, weโ€™ll transfer to Da Nang airport for a short flight to Hai Phong City (airfare will be priced separately). Upon arrival time, get welcome by our local team then transfer to hotel in Halong for check-in.

Day 18: Visit Halong City โ€“ Overnight on a cruise

We start our day at 09:00 AM, check out your hotel then transfer to Quang Ninh Museum for 1-hour visit. This is a striking modern landmark showcasing the provinceโ€™s natural history, maritime culture, coal mining heritage, and ethnic diversity. With impressive architecture and interactive exhibits, it offers a comprehensive insight into Quang Ninhโ€™s history and people.

At noon time, you will check-in and get on board the cruise then start a trip to discover the World Heritage. Along the way, you will have a chance to pass through the grandeur of the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands. Your first excursion is a visit to Luon Cave. This is considered as one of the most ideal places in Halong for kayaking or rowing boats. After that, you can visit Titov Island, where you can go swimming or hike to the top for another stunning, panoramic view of the Bay.

Return to the cruise and enjoy the Bay sunset while enjoying the "Happy Hour". You may also join our chef in the kitchen to learn how to make traditional spring rolls. Dinner will be served and stay overnight on the cruise.

Day 19: Halong Bay โ€“ Back to Hanoi

At 6:00 AM, you can join in the Tai-Chi Exercise on the sundeck in 30 minutes. Then have breakfast at the restaurant and have a chance to visit the magnificent Sung Sot Cave. After that, you will come back to the cruise, relax and pack the luggage. You may enjoy a brunch at the restaurant after check-out while cruising toward the port.

Back to harbor around 11.30. Transfer back to a hotel in Hanoi. Recheck-in your hotel around 15:30 โ€“ 16:00, the rest of day is free.
