Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Visit old Ceramic village

Upon arrival, clear immigration process and get welcomed by our local tour guide and driver then we transfer your group to hotel for check-in if time permits.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, at 14:00, we have a short transfer to Bat Trang Ceramic village, take a walk around this 300 years old village, visit a local family to learn more about the traditional architecture, culture and daily life. Next, we visit Bat Trang temple before we reach a local airtist house hold, here you will be guided how to make a ceramic product (bowl, flower vase, plate, or cup). If you did it well, we will deliver your own after firing to your hotel after 1-2 days. Return to Thang Long Water pupet show for 1 hour culture show then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Rest and overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Ha Noi – Pu Luong Natural reserve

At 08:00 AM, meet our tour guide and transfer to Pu Luong natural reserve (around 4,5 hours driving). This is home of Thai and Muong ethnic people.

Arrive Pu Luong around noon time. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant then check-in your lodge here.

In the afternoon, we move to a rural kindergarten or primary school for our volunteer works. We will do painting works here under instruction of a local painter, repair the school, kitchen, and planting tree at the playground.

Move back to the hotel for dinner, and overnight at your lodge

Day 3 - 4: Full day with volunteer works at school

Your full day with volunteer works. You will get transferred to the school by 2 or 3 smaller minivans, depending on group size

Lunch will be arranged by a local family close to the school. Dinner will be at our lodge or a local restaurant close by.

Dinner on day 4 will be a farewell dinner with BBQ. We will invite some people from school, local painter, who get involved in our project to join us for the farewell party.

Day 5: Ninh Binh, visit Trang An, Hoa Lu then Hanoi

Farewell the peaceful Pu Luong Natural Reserve and we are heading to Ninh Binh for a 3-hour driving.

Lunch is served at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we hop on a local bamboo sampan on Trang An River, floating along the waterways which gently rowed down through numerous breathtaking tunnel caves and enjoy the amazing view on the two sides of the river. During the two-hour boat trip, you might see several mountain goats leaping from one cliff to another.

Later, we have a short transfer to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s 9th-century ancient capital. Here, your tour guide will give you an introduction to some cultural sightseeing and tales of ancient kings.

Hop on the bus then get back to Hanoi. Recheck-in your hotel, dinner, and overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.
