Day 1: Hanoi – Cycling to Mai Chau Valley
At 8:00 AM, the bus departs from your hotel in Hanoi. Cycling can be advantageous after an hour-long drive to escape the bustling city and starting on country roads with our van support. On the way to Mai Chau, we stopped for lunch. Afterward, we keep riding all over the slopes, and along the HoaBinh lakes where you can experience a beautiful perspective on the tranquil lakes.
At the point when dusk comes, we go down the slopes and show up in Poom Coom - an ancestral town of Thai, whose guesthouse we enjoy dinner and stay overnight. Sleeping is cozy, the food is quite tasty and you’ll have an insight into how local Thai families live.
Cycling Distance: about 50 – 80 km
Trail Difficulty: 4/5
Inclusion:Transfer, guide, guest house, lunch, dinner, mountain bike& helmet, snack & water
Day 2: Mai Chau surroundings, back to Hanoi
To get ready for a smooth town to town cycle trip, we get up ahead of schedule to make the most of time. Today we intend to cover around 30 km of distance on two wheels. There are plenty of more remote villages dotted across the valley and you can spend a day walking between them. We are taking in the scenery, the agricultural lifestyle, and experiencing the hospitality of the Thai people we meet along the way.
We also have a hearty lunch at Poom-Coom town with extraordinary home-grown food like grilled chicken and fresh vegetable. At last, we ride back to Hanoi in the afternoon.
