CYCLING MEKONG CAN THO 2 DAYS

At 7:30 AM, you start your day with an arrival from Cai Lay (about a 2-hour drive), then pick up your bicycles and enjoy your ride through peaceful countryside roads and lanes crossing nearby villages and scenic canals. This route includes several stops to discover seasonal orchards and enjoy different types of tasty tropical fruits such as rambutan, durian, longan, jackfruit, etc. You can also visit a local market to buy fruits and handicrafts, explore a coconut candy factory, and watch farmers harvest peanuts,… 

We board our boat for a cruise down the Mekong river (about 1.5 km wide). On the way, we pass waterfront villages and the Cai Be floating market, stopping on Binh Hoa Phuoc island to enjoy local specialties. 

After lunchtime, we have a short bicycle ride to explore orchards and the daily lives of Vietnamese Southern farmers. Crossing a ferry, we travel to Cai Ngang market where we start two hours riding on paddy fields, through numerous rural riverside villages, and visiting Khmer Pagoda en route.  Finally, we can continue cycling or travel by van toward the hotel in Can Tho.

Start your day by enjoying a leisurely boat ride to the fascinating and lively Cai Rang Floating Market, which is one of the best worth visiting places in the whole region. Once you've explored this unique market, hop back on your motorbikes for a 2-hour ride through the picturesque Mekong Delta to meet the hospitable locals (many on bicycles too).

After lunchtime, we travel back to HCM City. Around 5:30 PM, the tour ends at your hotel.

*Tips: On your way back to Saigon, you could want to mount your bikes once again, please discuss with your guide. There is a chance to stop, walk across a peaceful farm field, and find out more about the Vietnamese rice industry.
